PRAISE began in 1994 through the inspiration and spirit of the Steubenville High School Conference. It uses contemporary Christian songs, many of which have been played at worship services on the Steubenville weekend.
This group is meant to give high school young people the opportunity to participate in the music ministry at regular Sunday Mass. Young Catholics taking their place as active participants in the Mass while using their presence, gift and talents to glorify God and help their fellow Catholic Christians worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
PRAISE practices on Sunday mornings 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s. They do the music ministry at the 10:45 a.m. Mass on the 3rd Sunday from September to June.
